Not Enough Emeralds is a vanilla style mod that adds emerald armor, tools, weapons, emerald horse armor, and emerald Nautilus armor!
Features & Mechanics
Emerald Armor, Tools & Weapons
Crafted like other gear, but using emeralds.
Emerald equipment is designed as middle tier gear between iron and diamond, making it stronger than iron but not as strong as diamond.
Emerald equipment also has high enchantability, with tools and weapons having 18 enchantability and armor having 22 enchantability.
Familiar Face Effect
Wearing emerald armor gives you an effect called Familiar Face.
While Familiar Face is active, you can sneak-right-click villagers to have them follow you. Sneak right click again to have them stop.
Familiar Face also makes villager trades cheaper!
The more emerald armor pieces you wear, the higher your Familiar Face level becomes.
Familiar Face levels:
- Familiar Face I = 1 armor piece, 20% trade discount
- Familiar Face II = 2 armor pieces, 30% trade discount
- Familiar Face III = 3 armor pieces, 40% trade discount
- Familiar Face IV = full emerald armor set, 50% trade discount
Nearby iron golems will also protect you if you are attacked, even by other players.
