
Oak and Ember Chest Shops
This mod adds chest shops, and exposes API for future compatibility with other economy systems.
About this Mod
This mod adds the following, all of which will likely change significantly before leaving alpha:
Commands
- /cs create - Create a shop
- /cs delete - Delete a shop
- /cs info - Show info about a given shop
- /cs list - List your shops
- /cs setitem {price} {quantity} {mode} - Edit what you're selling and for how much
- /cs clearitem - Stop selling from a given shop
How To Install
This mod only needs to be installed on the server. Simply drop the .jar file directly into the mods folder, and everything should work.
After running the server once, you should find a config folder where you can change:
- chestShopsEnabled (default true)
- maxShopsPerPlayer (default -1)
- shopCreationCost (default 0)
- transactionTax (default 0)

Why would you want this economy mod?
It is currently in alpha. It is small, there are only a few features, and there will be bugs. You don't (yet) want this mod, but I would be grateful if you decide to test it out and report bugs anyway.

How to Install Oak and Ember Chest Shops on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Oak and Ember Chest Shops". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Oak and Ember Chest Shops server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Oak and Ember Chest Shops compatible with fabric?
Oak and Ember Chest Shops officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Oak and Ember Chest Shops – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Oak and Ember Chest Shops consumes the most tick time.
