About this Mod
Back when I started discovering minecraft, I had this feeling that the game was a misterious world where anything could happen. As I became familiar with the game this air of mistery vanished.
This mod seeks to capture some of that feeling back.

Obscurio adds a few items, blocks, potion effects, mobs and maybe some secret special mechanics, mostly tied to a new resource: obscurita. It also includes its own advancement page that may help you finding some of these secrets, along with unlockable crafting recipes, making Jei not mandatory. There is also a not-very-hidden hint system that might help in the form of "clue" items that you might find while exploring the world.
Overal, Obscurio seeks to leave a vanilla-like experience. It's unobtrusive and easy to ignore, but with a very low chance that something surprising might happen while you play. It was also designed with mod compatibility in mind, so adding it to a modpack shouldn't cause any issues.

This mod is my first foray into the world of modmaking, and has been mostly a learning proyect for me. I have made sure to pester my friends for playtesting as much as possible, but I still feel it requires more testing for the sake of balancing the different features. As such, feedback relating to balance is encouraged and welcomed. And if you encounter any bug or problem please contact me without worry. You can find me on discord as "sethyandrak".

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Obscurio consumes the most tick time.
