Origins: Ochre Crown
A pressure-powered war-machine left to wander the nether as the sole survivor of the ancient Ochre Kingdom. Although war and demolition were its intended purposes, the Ochre Crown's abilities also make it incredibly effective at mining.
About this Mod
"...while the Verdant crown's role was largely based in peacekeeping, the Ochre crown was a machine of war. It was capable of redirecting heat (which was overwhelmingly abundant in the Ochre king's realm) in order to efficiently and rapidly carve tunnels through which the king's armies could travel, or incinerate any enemy forces that dared approach it directly."
🟡 Pressure: The Ochre crown's primary function was to maintain and redirect intense pressure and heat, which was represented by a dial with seven segments. These segments corresponded to a maximum capacity of 70 post-standard pressure units (henceforth PSP).
🟨 Spit: The primary method of releasing pressure was to spit it out in a large burst of 10PSP, flinging the crown back and restoring some of its vitality, which was the crown's only method of self-repair. If the crown did this while braced, it would instead release a concentrated burst of flame and destruction.
If the crown's pressure reached 70 PSP, it would automatically be forced to spit as to avoid self-combustion.
🟨 Brace: By bracing, the crown could block 75% of damage from falling, 50% of damage from projectiles, and 25% of damage from other sources. It would also allow the crown to concentrate or prevent the expulsion and intake of pressure.
🟡 Enhancements: The crown had other, less concentrated ways of releasing pressure. This included jumping, striking opponents, and being struck. These would be disabled while braced.
🟡 Infernal Sustainability: The crown required no fuel beyond what it could automatically salvage from its surroundings. It could sustain itself indefinitely, provided it had above 0 PSP.
🟡 Ochre Roots After the fall of Ochre, its crown was left to wander the ruins of the fallen empire, and it is believed that it remains in that dimension to this day.
