Old biomes
This mod will bring back the removed biomes from the game of minecraft. These biomes were removed with the adventures update in beta 1.8.

About this Mod
Ice Desert: Unlike the regular desert, the ice desert is covered with snow and ice; in addition, there are no cacti or dry bushes in the ice desert.
Tropical Forest(Rainforest):The rainforest has oak trees and lots of tall grass and ferns.
shurbland:A biome with few trees and no tall grass. It is identical to the savanna biome. Along with swampland, it was one of the smallest biomes in the game.
Seasonal Forest:This biome is located near regular and rain forests and plains. Seasonal forest, unlike regular forest, contains fewer trees and tall grasses; it also lacks birch trees. In the seasonal forest, water bodies are more common than in the regular forest.

How to Install Old biomes on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Old biomes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Old biomes server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Old biomes consumes the most tick time.
