Olden Guns

This is a fork of ewewukek's musket mod, credit to him for the base code and old assets.

Now on 1.20.x!

This mod adds 4 flintlock weapons to Minecraft: the musket, the pistol, the rifle (new) and the blunderbuss (new).

(NEW) - Projectiles now ricochet at steep impact angles, slopes supported (Valkyrien Skies 2).

Weapons now have cooldowns when equipping, preventing someone from abusing their hotbar for rapid-fire.

Reload duration is now configurable with a primitive system to scale the reload sounds accordingly.

Durability has been tweaked to represent barrel fouling, with these weapons only being able to fire up to 45 times before destroying themselves. That is, unless you craft the new cleaning rod item, which will allow you to remove this fouling and return the item to full durability. The dirty cleaning rod can then be washed with a water bucket in a crafting menu.

Weapons that are close to 0 durability will receive a debuff in their performance, further encouraging users to keep them clean.

The rifle is similar to a musket but offers greatly increased accuracy thanks to its rifled barrel, this gives it the ability to hit targets at longer distances, this comes at a cost in reload speed and crafting cost.

The blunderbuss is a primitive shotgun that fires lots of small projectiles at once, extremely devastating at close range (recommend using the no invulnerability tick mod to allow it to reach its full potential), but with very poor performance at longer ranges.

There are more features to come, with some of the planned ones including:
Ricochet mechanics for projectiles.

New assets (3d models and perhaps sounds)

More powerful weapons, capable of damaging some blocks.
