About this Mod
Description
This mod generates a flat world that includes all the biomes and structures of a regular world.
It allows you to recreate a superflat world while still being able to experience a full adventure within it.
🛠 Configuration
A configuration file named onelayer-common.toml can be found in the config folder or directly in-game, it allows you to adjust world generation and certain behaviors to better fit your adventure, server, or modpack.
🌳 Server :
You can test it by adding the following parameter to your server.properties file:
level-type=onelayer\:onelayer
It’s recommended to add this parameter before creating your world.
🌴 Client :
Select One Layer on generation type

How to Install OneLayer on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "OneLayer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

OneLayer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is OneLayer compatible with forge and neoforge?
OneLayer officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with OneLayer – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if OneLayer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
