About this Mod
Operation: Starcleave

... is a mod about Reaching for the Stars, and the Unification of Heavens and Earth.
Summary
The mod acts similarly to a dimension mod, but without the separate dimension.
Instead, you can Terraform preexisting areas of your World into a Celestial Landscape, by triggering a series of (theoretically) deliberate quasi-natural disasters.
See the sights, meet your New Neighbours, and Plunder the Landscape for all of its resources...

... all from the convenience of your backyard*!
*note: breaking open Heaven in your backyard, or anywhere close to anything you hold dear, is not recommended.
Introduction: When Heavens Broke
It began with the Starcleaver Golem. With a mining drill, firework jetpack, and inbuilt storage, it would have been the Perfect autonomous asteroid miner...

Alas, the Golem could never reach its goal.
As we watched it shoot drill-first into the Cosmos, it met some sort of Resistance From Above...

... and we could do nothing but watch as the Heavens tore Open.
An opalescent Fog filled the air. Under that alien Starlight, the land was Bleached.

As the ground twisted beneath our feet, we saw the grass painted in a sickly yellow splendor, and the trees were locked within a lifeless sheen.
Our World was drenched in Rainbow Hues...

... and a hint of Nuclear Green.
Features
Operation: Starcleave currently adds the following main features:
Starcleaver Golem: By placing a Netherite Pumpkin atop a block of Crying Obsidian, you can form a batch of Starcleaver Golems. By filling one with A Few Pieces of Gunpowder and starting its fuse with a Flint and Steel, it will sail towards the heavens...
Firmament Fractures: Formed by the drill of a Starcleaver Golem when it attempts to Leave into the Cosmos. The Fracture will show a glimpse into the Starlit Sea Above.
Nucelosyntheseeds: Green seeds, spawned by the Nuclear Stormclouds emitted after a Firmament Fracture is formed. Upon landing, they grow and burrow into the ground. They then wait there... dormant.
Starbleaching: Areas beneath Fractured Firmament will be bathed in Rainbow Hues. Land engulfed in this Starlight will gradually become Starbleached. This will transform the terrain, and convert existing blocks into their Heavenly counterparts.
Subcaelic Torpedoes: Beneath the Shattered Sky, mob spawns will be replaced by Celestial Beings. The Subcaelic Torpedoes resemble flying Squids, and spew Mysterious Rainbow Trails across the land. They follow their leader, the Subcaelic Dux.
Subcaelic Dux: The Dux is a neutral miniboss. When angered it will send its Torpedoes at those who stand against it. Upon death, it will give you a... "reward"... if you see Green, Run.
And a handful of items, blocks, and minor mechanics, derived from Fractures and their Consequences, such as:
- Some really Stellar Farmland, albeit with a chance of turning your crops into Bismuth.
- Bismuth Pegasus Armor, to give your Horse Wings.
- Magic Rainbow fire that Burns Underwater (keep it away from the Green).
- The ability to Collect Starbleach in a Cauldron, and then cover your food in Starbleach. (and also your Ender Pearls.)
- Blessed Cloth blocks - to break your fall.
- A Very Comfortable Bed.
