About this Mod

Orbital Railgun: Renewed

An unofficial NeoForge port of Orbital Railgun by Mishkis (MIT), brought to modern Minecraft versions — from 1.21.1 all the way to 26.1.

Craft the Orbital Railgun, hold right-click to aim through a full-screen targeting interface, and left-click to call down an orbital strike. Thirty seconds later, everything within a 24-block radius is vaporized down to bedrock.

Description

If you've ever wanted to destroy large swathes of land in an instant while having no regard for the local fauna and wildlife present, then our new invention of the Orbital Railgun may interest you. By harnessing the power of a star, you are able to communicate directly to our rapid-response railgun satalite, allowing for quick and easy access to absolute destruction. Simply aim your Orbital Railgun and fire, and within half a minute you will have caused an ecological disaster, but at least the area is clear now!

Note: it WILL destroy bedrock.

Features

  • 🛰️ The original orbital strike experience: targeting shader, sky beam, massive crater
  • ⚡ Faster post-explosion screen effects: the vignette clears in ~8 s instead of ~20 s
  • 🧊 No extra rendering libraries — Satin was replaced with the vanilla post-processing pipeline
  • ✅ Sodium compatible

Requirements

  • NeoForge
  • GeckoLib for your Minecraft version (4.x up to MC 1.21.4, 5.x from MC 1.21.5)
