About this Mod
TW's Ore Dredging
This mod aims to enrich your mining experience in multiple ways, adding more surprises and possibilities to every dig!
Cimelia (Treasures)
In this mod, when breaking various rocks, in addition to dropping vanilla ores, there is a chance to drop even more precious and exciting treasures. We call them Cimelia.
Each cimelia has one or more unique and powerful functions, and we will continue to update with more interesting content!
Block Crushing
Currently, most rocks and ores in the Overworld will have more special drops.
📋 Drop Mechanics
Each time you mine certain blocks, you have a 25% chance to shatter it.
When shattered, it will no longer drop its original loot, but instead drop new additional loot – possibly crushed block piles or some minerals and treasures buried within.
Special Mining Tools
Geological Hammer
The Geological Hammer is a specialized pickaxe that excels at crushing rocks. When used to break blocks that support the crushing mechanic, it guarantees a 100% chance to shatter the block (instead of the usual 25%).
After shattering, the hammer also increases your chance of obtaining extra drops – including ores and cimelia.
⚒️ Tip: The Geological Hammer is crafted like a standard pickaxe but uses unique materials (see in-game recipe). It inherits all the abilities of a pickaxe, making it a reliable companion for any mining expedition.
Crumble Hammer
The Crumble Hammer is a powerful tool that requires charging to break blocks. To use it, right-click and hold while aiming at a target block. Energy accumulates over time – once the stored energy matches the block's hardness, the block is instantly destroyed, accompanied by a spectacular burst of particles and sound.
Like the Geological Hammer, it guarantees a 100% crush chance on any crushable block and further increases the probability of additional drops.
Crushed Products
Rock Piles
Rock Piles are the main product after rocks are shattered in this mod.
Except for Sandstone Rock Piles, all other rock piles can be used to craft the corresponding stone bricks, or be broken down into four corresponding pebbles.
Pebbles
- Can be used as a substitute for flint when crafting arrows.
- Can be thrown as projectiles to deal damage to enemies.
- Each type of pebble has different characteristics: some fly faster, some deal more damage, some have a shorter attack cooldown – wait for you to discover!
💥 The projectile damage of pebbles is affected by the Strength effect: each level of Strength increases the damage by 1 point. They will be your trusty companion in the early stages of mining!
Rock piles and pebbles also generate naturally in the world, decorating your environment.
Mineral Pouches
To handle the large number of drops, this mod adds three tiers of Mineral Pouches, which are extremely practical!
🎒 Crafting and Upgrade Path
| Pouch | Materials |
|---|---|
| Leather Mineral Pouch | Leather + String |
| Chain Mineral Pouch | Rabbit Hide + Chain (upgrade from previous tier) |
| Phantom Mineral Pouch | Phantom Membrane + Slimeball (upgrade from previous tier) |
✨ Exclusive Enchantments
Three incredibly useful enchantments for mineral pouches:
- Convergence (Level I): Automatically compresses mineral nuggets in the pouch into corresponding raw ores or ingots.
- Auto Picking (Level I): When you pick up mineral items from the ground, they are automatically stored into the pouch.
- Expansion (Levels I–III): Each level increases the pouch's capacity by 0.5 times, and the effect stacks!
