Adding a new layer to Origins!
With this mod, you can add a background to your character. Were they a fisher? A sailor? A cultist? It's all up to you.

Each background comes with a small positive effect, small enough it won't upset the balance, even without a negative effect.

Backgrounds are their own type, so they won't be competing with your Hundreds of Origins or Classes.

In Fact, you can have an Origin, a Class and a Background, similar to a popular TTRPG.

Origins (Forge) is required.

Origins: Classes (Forge) is optional, but recommended.

How to Install Origins Backgrounds on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Origins Backgrounds". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
