About this Mod

A lightweight client-side utility mod for NeoForge that handles advertising modpack version and verification.

When connecting to a server running PackGateway, this mod automatically reports your modpack version to the proxy during login. If your version is up to date, you connect normally. If your version is outdated, you'll see a disconnect screen with clickable buttons to download the latest modpack and join the community Discord.

How to Install Pack Gateway on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Pack Gateway". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
