PainLoot
PainLoot is a mod that disables the Moon from blocks. Resources are now obtained only through loss: each category of loss gives its own reward. The stronger the blow and the smaller your health, the more valuable the lie. Risk = reward.
About this Mod
PainLoot - Masochist Simulator
Description
PainLoot completely changes the way resources are received in Minecraft. Forget the fact that a hole falls from blocks - now it only falls when you take damage.
Break the blocks as much as you want - nothing will fall out. But if you take damage, how the objects are getting wet from you. The stronger the blow, the greater the reward.
Mechanics
Categories are affected:
| Damage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Fall | Building blocks (earth, stone, plank, glass) |
| Fire / Lava | Valuable resources (iron, gold, diamonds, redstone) |
| Arms | Weapons, tools, armor |
| Projectiles (arrows, turbans) | Ammunition, redstone, gunpowder |
| Drowning | Fish, underwater treasures, shells |
| Hunger | Food and pastries |
| Poison / Magic | Poisonous substances, potions, fungi |
| Explosions | Gunpowder, TNT, explosives, rare blocks |
| Lightning | Nezerites, gold, rare crystals |
| Freezing | Ice blocks, snow, amethyst |
Three unique mechanics:
Scale by Damage - The number of moons depends on the force of impact. Every 6 units of damage = +1 object (maximum 5). Fell from the sky = good drone, cactus = modest reward.
Rare loot - 10% chance instead of the usual object to get rare: diamond, nezerit, totem immortality, enchanted golden apple. Opportunity depends on health.
Health multiplier - The lower the HP, the higher the chance of a rare moon:
- 100-51% HP 10%
- 50-26% HP 15%
- 25-11% HP 20%
less than 10% HP 30%
The closer to death, the more valuable the reward.
Tips
- Jump from the height to get building blocks
- Let the mob hit you to throw away your weapon and armor
- Get into the sea for a second for diamonds and ores
- Run to the edge of life - the maximum chance of a rare moon
