About this Mod
Introduction
Suffering.
The beginning of the game?
Miserable.
Entering The Nether?
Wretched.
Crafting even a single Eye of Ender?
A torture I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
The above describes the most unbalanced, unfair, and unforgiving mod conceived by a human being, ever. a.k.a. PainMC
PainMC has many awesome addititions, such as the "Ender Crafter" and the "Really Cool Ender Fragment"
It also has some vanilla changes, such as worse blaze drops, and entities just... feel like taking less damage
Additions to the game
Dirt isn't really useful, I mean apart from farming what do you really use it for? So we thought to make it a bit more needed.
Introducing Dirt Grains!
Dirt Grains are pretty simple to obtain, simply put dirt in a crafting table and you got 9 dirt grains.
Dirt Grains can be eaten, thrown, and used to craft things, mainly the first pickaxe in progression. The Dirt Pickaxe crafted from 3 dirt grain and 2 sticks replaces in the wooden pickaxe, since it's made of dirt it can break very easily! (1 in 1000 every tick)
Note that there are currently not many changes as of now to mid-game
Once you get around to finding diamonds, be on the look out as there are fake diamonds that smelt into Dirt Grains. After smelting Diamond Ore, you may notice that you get half a diamond, see we thought diamonds were a bit too plentiful so you only get half, but don't worry, as you only need two halves to make a full diamond, just make sure it's a left half and a right half.
There are a few more extra things sprinkled in for you to discover such as blocks fighting back, but we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise ;)

Server lagging with PainMC – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PainMC consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
