About this Mod
📖 About
Now players and mobs will fall through leaves when standing on them or entering from the side.
Features:
- Each block at the feet or head increases slowdown by 20% and reduces gravity by 12.5%. With two blocks, the total slowdown becomes 40% and reduces gravity by 25%.
- Chainmail boots let players/mobs walk on leaves. Sneak to fall through (like powder snow).

These issues cannot be fixed or are only partially fixed
- Only the player's vanilla hitbox size is used for checks.
- A leaves block above the head remains solid.

How to Install Passable Leaves on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Passable Leaves". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Passable Leaves server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Passable Leaves – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Passable Leaves consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
