Persistent Enchantment
Replaces Mending with Persistent, a more balanced enchantment that mimics Elytra breaking behaviour for other items. Part of the Murf Tweaks package mod.
About this Mod
Persistent is a replacement for Mending which removes XP repairing but prevents items from breaking at low durability by making the unusable, mimicing Elytra behaviour.
The enchantment is available either as an override for Mending or it's own unique enchantment. Two built-in datapacks are provided to change this functionality per-world. I also recommend a mod which removes anvil cost scaling, so you can continue to repair your gear indefinitely
The mod is designed to work entirely server-side. The implementation is slightly smoother if the client also has the mod installed, however functionally there is no difference.

This is one part of the Murf Tweaks package mod!
