About this Mod
Pika Nick Detector is a lightweight Forge 1.8.9 client‑side mod that helps you check whether players are likely nicked on PikaNetwork, using their public stats API. It does not modify gameplay or give combat advantages; it only queries public profile data that is already publicly available.
What this mod does
Adds a /nick
Adds a /scanall chat command to quickly scan all currently online players on the server.
For each name, the mod calls the PikaNetwork Stats API profile endpoint to see if that username exists in their database.
If the profile exists (API 200), the player is shown as REAL, and their Pika rank is displayed when available.
If the profile does not exist (API 400/404), that name is marked as LIKELY NICKED OR INVALID.
This mod does not bypass Pika’s nick system; it only reads what the public API exposes, similar to external stats bots and tools.
How to use it
Install Forge 1.8.9 on your Minecraft client.
Put this mod’s JAR file into your .minecraft/mods folder.
Launch Minecraft using the Forge 1.8.9 profile.
Join a server (for example PikaNetwork) or a singleplayer world.
Check one specific player
Command:
text
/nick
Example: /nick SomePikaPlayer
The mod will query the Pika stats API for that name and respond in chat with whether the account is REAL and the rank (if present), or LIKELY NICKED / NOT REGISTERED.
Scan everyone currently online
Command:
text
/scanall
The mod loops through the online player list, checks each name via the API, and prints a summary of which players look REAL and which are LIKELY NICKED.
This is useful in lobbies, Bedwars/SkyWars games, or party situations where you want an overview instead of checking players one by one.
The mod does not run automatically by default on public servers. You decide when to scan by running /nick or /scanall. Any optional join‑scan behavior only applies on servers where this mod is also installed server‑side.
Why you might want this mod
You play on PikaNetwork and want a quick way to see if teammates or opponents are on real accounts.
You are a content creator and want to show your viewers who is nicked using clear, in‑game messages or /scanall summaries.
You like inspecting Pika player profiles and ranks without leaving Minecraft.

This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by PikaNetwork; it simply uses their documented public stats API in a client‑side mod format.

Pika Nickdetector server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.8.9). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Pika Nickdetector compatible with forge?
Pika Nickdetector officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.8.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Pika Nickdetector – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Pika Nickdetector consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
