About this Mod
Pillagers
Allows you to get villager loot by killing them!
When this mod is installed villagers will have a chance to drop their trade items when killed. By default players have a 5% chance to drop 1-3 trade items. The chance of this happening goes up by 1.5% for each level of looting used. There is an additional 15% chance if they are killed during a raid. Normally these items will only drop if the villager is killed directly by a player.
This mod is extremely configurable. The following values can be changed.
- base-chance - The chance of villagers dropping loot.
- looting-chance - The amount to increase the chance for each level of looting.
- raid-chance - the amount to increase the chance by when a raid is active.
- player-required - Does the villager need to be killed by a player.
- exclude-fake-players - Can fake players like auto-killers / grinders get the drops?
- require-profession - Can villagers drop items if they don't have a profession?
- only-in-villages - Does the villager need to be in a village to drop loot?
- only-in-raids - Does the villager need to be in a raid to drop loot?
- loot-children - Can child villagers drop loot?
- bad-omen-chance - The chance that pillaging a villager will give you the bad omen effect.
- loot-amount - The min/max number of items to drop when a villager is pillaged.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Pillagers consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
