About this Mod
Pioneer is an expansive biome and world generation mod aimed at complementing the vanilla biomes by keeping it simple and not straying too far from the vanilla style. It comes with my take on several popular trees such as firs and redwoods.
Biomes
- Aspen Grove - an autumn forest with maples, aspens, and oaks
- Autumnal Coniferous Forest - a boreal forest with evergreen firs and bright yellow tamaracks
- Baobab Fields - a savanna with towering baobab trees
- Blossoming Fields (removed in 1.20) - a colorful field of white and pink sakura trees
- Boreal Forest - a cold, but lush taiga of tall fir trees
- Crystal Lakes - a wet boreal forest with amethyst crystals
- Desert Shrubland - a grassy desert with joshua trees and new desert flora
- Flooded Forest - a flooded forest and a good source of dripleaf
- Old Growth Baobab Fields - a variant of the baobab fields with a taller, denser canopy
- Overgrown Spires - a lush jungle with rocky spires that reach the sky
- Pine Meadows - an open field of pine trees and spruce shrubs, covered in streaks of diorite
- Prairie - an expanse of yellow prairie grass and the occasional cottonwood
- Redwoods - a forest of giant redwood trees
- Red Rock Canyon - a lush variant of the eroded badlands
- Red Rock Cliffs - a lush variant of the badlands
- Snowy Boreal Forest - snowy version of the boreal forest
- Snowy Redwoods - snowy version of the redwoods
- Verdant Sands - a lush desert with strips of green grass
- Willow Wetlands - a swamp of willow and mangrove trees, with sea pickles that light up the swamp at night
- Windswept Cliffs - a greener, mossy variant of the stony peaks
Extras
- Juniper trees - generates in badlands. Their leaves can be harvested for juniper berries, which can be a source of food in the badlands.
