About this Mod

ripoff sea of thieves frfr.
-================-
PirateDive is a ocean content update that aims to add various features to provide new reasons to explore the ocean. PirateDive is a, you guessed it, a mod themed around pirates (even though it doesn't have pirates) You can find Pirate Gold in all ocean structure chests, which; is the main resource for the mod.
IF NOT ALREADY INSTALLED THE MOD REQUIRES GECKOLIB
Recommend to have JEI or REI installed to find all the recipes.
To get the Palm Wood set you have to make a Pirate Trading Post and place it next to a villager :)
What are the current features?
You can find a showcase of all the features in my latest video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2otQBuEobI&t=52s (THIS IS NOT MY LATEST VIDEO, A NEW ONE WILL BE UPLOADED SOON WITH ALL THE FEATURES)
Will PirateDive be on more versions of Minecraft
In the next month I plan to hopefully add 1.20, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, and 1.20.4. Hopefully when 1.21 releases I can get a version for that as well.
What do I plan to add in the feature?
As of right now PirateDive is currently only in it's release version, so as expected does not have all the planned features, so what do I want too add?
- Pirate Ship structures which will spawn throughout the ocean
- Aggressive Pirate entities which will look like the vindicators
- Flintlocks and guns
- More fish and ocean blocks!
- Rats which will spawn in pirate ships (and will be tameable)
- Monkeys that spawn in the jungle
- Palm trees that naturally spawn on beaches (maybe)
- If Palm trees are added then coconuts
- Various weapons including a coconut launcher, dabloon shrapnel bomb, handheld cannon, etc.
- More hats!
- Buff items like a pirate claw which would increase your attack damage
- Pirate Alchohol
so uh yea I want to add alot

PirateDive server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is PirateDive compatible with fabric?
PirateDive officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with PirateDive – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PirateDive consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
