Player Lives
A lightweight and customizable mod that adds player lives to Minecraft. Control how many lives each player gets, reset lives, or restore everyone at once. Perfect for SMPs, hardcore-style worlds, and event servers.
Description
Player Lives introduces a simple but powerful life system.
Each player has a configurable number of lives, and server admins can easily view or change them with commands.

Commands
Set Maximum Lives
/plives setMaxLives <amount>
Sets the global maximum number of lives players can have.
Get Maximum Lives
/plives getMaxLives
Shows the currently configured maximum lives.
Set a Player’s Lives
/plives player <playerName> setLives <amount>
Sets a specific player’s current lives.
Get a Player’s Lives
/plives player <playerName> getLives
Checks how many lives a specific player currently has.
Restore All Players to Max Lives
/plives maxAll
Gives every player the maximum number of lives.

How to Install Player Lives on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Player Lives". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Player Lives server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Player Lives compatible with neoforge?

Server lagging with Player Lives – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Player Lives consumes the most tick time.
