PMWU-EAS (Emergency Alert System) allows users to receive SWS/SVR [PDS & DST]/TOR [PDS & TORE] warnings in chat, along with overlaying warning polygons on radar.
About this Mod
Introduction
PMWU-EAS brings a fully functional Emergency Alert System to the game, delivering Special Weather Statements, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings (including PDS and Destructive), and Tornado Warnings (including PDS and Tornado Emergency) directly to chat, alongside warning polygon overlays on radar. Mesoscale Discussions and Watches are also received in chat. To receive alerts, simply have the EAS Receiver in your inventory and turned on — right-click with it in hand to toggle

Support for all PMWU mods are available within the PMWU Support Discord server.
Extra
This mod is apart of the PMWU modline, which was created to add multiple addon mods to ProtoManly's Weather. All PMWU mods are compatible with each other, but they have not been tested for compatability with other PMW sidemods.
This mod has been vigorously tested, but bugs may still appear. If you encounter a bug, please submit it to the PMWU Support Discord server in a ticket.

How to Install PMWU-EAS on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "PMWU-EAS". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

PMWU-EAS server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is PMWU-EAS compatible with neoforge?
PMWU-EAS officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with PMWU-EAS – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PMWU-EAS consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
