About this Mod

What if...

You could seamlessly transfer Pokémon between different worlds?
Missing an old partner from a previous adventure? No problem! Let your old friends join you for new journeys without having to cheat them in! Every Pokémon is perfectly copied over with held items, EVs, IVs, Nicknames and More!

Features:

  • Commands: /poketransfer deposit <slot 1-6> saves a copy of the chosen party slot, which is then assigned a numerical ID (remember these!); /poketransfer withdraw restores a stored Pokémon into your party (or PC if the party is full).
  • One-time deposit: A Pokémon tagged as transferred cannot be deposited again. The flag travels with the Pokémon, so re-deposits stay blocked even after withdrawing it elsewhere.
  • World-bound withdraws: Each stored Pokémon can be withdrawn once per world.

Pokémon are stored in:

config/poketransfer/<uuid>/<id>.nbt

allowing you to copy the config file over for new instances of the game.

Frequently Asked Questions

PokéTransfer server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is PokéTransfer compatible with fabric?

PokéTransfer officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with PokéTransfer – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if PokéTransfer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
