About this Mod
Description:
- Poscendo is a configurable client-side mod making various tweaks to potions. Any changes Poscendo makes should be compatible with most mods out of the box!
Features:
- Potions and Tipped Arrows modified using either redstone or glowstone have a prefix in their names to help distinguish them, those being either "Lengthy" or "Potent" respectively. (Toggleable)
- Textures differentiating potions that have been enhanced using either redstone or glowstone. (Toggleable)
Old Features:
- A complete backport of the 1.19.4/1.20 potion re-colours. (Non-Configurable at the moment)
- The enchantment glint on potions has been removed. (Toggleable)
Notes:
It was brought to my attention that this project would be well suited for a multi-loader setup like Architectury, so I'll be looking into it in the foreseeable future so this project can be available on both Forge and Fabric! (And Quilt by extension!)
I'd love to look into variations in sounds for drinking the different varieties of potions, alongside other variant based sounds for the thrown potions.

Poscendo officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Poscendo – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Poscendo consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
