Profit Block
A block that you can use to resell items you bought from villagers for a higher price then you bought it for.
About this Mod
A special block that lets you resell items you bought from villagers at a higher price, essentially turning trading into a business. Think of it as a “merchant’s stand” or “trading counter.”
Functionality:
When you right-click the block, a custom GUI opens.
You place an item you previously bought from a villager into the input slot.
The block automatically recognizes it and sets a resale price (slightly higher than the villager’s selling price).
Another slot lets you collect the emeralds when someone “buys” the item back (either instantly or after a short timer to simulate trading).
Features:
Price Markup: +10–30% higher than the original villager price.
Emerald Profit: Gives you more emeralds than you spent, essentially making trading a business.
Balance Options:
Requires fuel (like gold nuggets or paper for “licenses”).
Has cooldowns so it can’t be spammed.
Only works with items that villagers normally sell (to prevent infinite duplication of rare gear).
Crafting Recipe (example):
3 Emeralds
1 Villager Head (or Villager Egg in creative mode)
4 Planks
1 Chest
GUI Design:
Input slot: place villager-bought item.
Emerald slot: shows how much you’ll earn.
Collect button: to confirm the resale.
Extra Twist:
If you resell too much, nearby villagers might raise their prices (like simulated “market inflation”), making it a balanced and fun mechanic.
