About this Mod
💎 Profitable Trade
Profitable Trade is the ultimate trading companion for Minecraft that transforms chaotic villager interfaces into clear, actionable data. Stop guessing if an enchanted book is a "deal" or a "scam" — let the mod do the math for you.
🚀 Key Features
📊 Dual-Panel Analytics. Two clean, dark panels appear to the left of the villager UI, providing critical insights:
Technical Panel:
CAN BUY: Shows exactly how many units you can afford right now, based on the resources in your inventory.
TRADES: Displays the remaining stock before the trade locks (e.g., 12/12).
Status Panel:
Instant trade quality assessment with intuitive color coding.
⌨️ Full Customization
Toggle Key: Hide or show the panels whenever you want. The default key is H.
Keybinds: Fully rebindable via the standard Minecraft Controls menu (Category: ProfitableTrade).
Status Notifications: A sleek overlay message appears above your hotbar when toggling: Panels: ON/OFF.
📜 Trade Analysis & Grades
The mod analyzes every offer and assigns a status based on base prices and rarity:
- 📚 Librarians (Enchanted Books)
The mod calculates the minimum and maximum possible base price for every enchantment level, factoring in whether it's a "Treasure" enchantment.
✨ GOD ROLL (Pink): The lowest possible price (or very close to it). A must-buy!
🟡 MID GRADE (Yellow): An average price. Acceptable if you're not looking to min-max.
🔴 BAD ROLL (Red): Significant overpayment. Better to reset the workstation.
- 🥦 Farmers & Crafters (Resources for Emeralds)
Evaluates your goods based on standard market rates:
📈 PROFIT (Green): The villager offers an excellent rate (e.g., less than 32 sticks per emerald).
⚖️ FAIR TRADE (White): Standard market price.
📉 SCAM (Red): An unfair rate. This villager is trying to rip you off.
- 🛠 Equipment & Items
🏷️ DISCOUNT (Cyan): Shows your specific discount percentage (e.g., 20% OFF) after curing a zombie villager.
💸 OVERPRICED (Orange): Price is higher than the base rate (due to high demand or if the villager is annoyed).
🔒 Stock Management
🚫 LOCKED: If a trade is sold out, the mod marks it as OUT OF STOCK so you don't waste your time.
