About this Mod

📘 About this mod:

Pure Ores adds more ores to the game, giving you many options for awesome looking gear and blocks!
This mod is intended to be used alongside my other mods, which I'm calling "micro-mods". I aim to combat bloated, overproduced mods with my simplistic, segmented micro-mods. Curate your own features without editing confusing config files and disabling recipes. Check my profile to find more mods, and complete your pack!

✋ FAQ:

Q: Will you backport to any older versions?
A: No. I prefer to keep my attention on the latest versions.
Q: This mod feels a bit overpowered/underpowered. Is there a config?
A: No, not at this time. The only config that exists is related to worldgen. If you don't like a mineral set or wish to make it more rare, use the gamerule command for that ore to reduce or disable it from generating.
Q: I don't like something about an item. Can I disable it?
A: I've added a configuration option for each ore to this mod, using /gamerule. Essentially, if you don't like a mineral, you can reduce its spawn chances or disable spawning entirely. Additionally, individual items can be "disabled" using a datapack to break the recipe. If you have a suggestion for a config option, please join the Discord and share your thoughts.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Pure Ores officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.4. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Pure Ores – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Pure Ores consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
