About this Mod
An evergrowing library (gradually) of QoL features I believe Minecraft is lacking OR would like to have the option to see in-game. Most will be simple, some will be a bit more advanced, but all-in-all, it should enhance the game
Currently Implemented:
Lava Haze Effect
Simple Haze Overylay Effect when in close proximity to any lava source. I like it
Durability Border Notification
Simple border colour flash when durability reaches 60/30 % respectively
Chest/Inventory Sorting
Simple Chest/Inventory sorting function, and sort-setting
Quick Deposit Items in Chest
Simple way to deposit items into chests. If the held item(s) exists in chest, Shift + Left-Click deposits held item(s). If the held item(s) does not exist in chest, Shift + Double Left-Click deposits held item(s).
Crawl Function
Simple Crawl function. (Default Keybind: C)

How to Install QoL Refined on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "QoL Refined". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

QoL Refined server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is QoL Refined compatible with fabric?
QoL Refined officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with QoL Refined – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if QoL Refined consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
