Inspired by the Don't Starve mod of the same name

Overview

QuickPing is a Minecraft mod that provides players with a radial wheel to declare their location, mark a spot, highlight mobs, and more.

Key Features

Mark Locations

Press the G key for quick marking, or press Alt to bring up the radial wheel and select "Ping".

Highlight Mobs

Use the mark on a mob to highlight it, with support for custom colors.

Quick Announcements

Currently supports announcing:

  • Held items
  • Current coordinates
  • Discovered blocks

This color controls:

  • Highlight color of mobs
  • Particle color
  • Text color for quick announcements

Setting Description Default
Distance Minimum distance for rendering the beam (0~100). Beam won't render closer. 50

How to Install quickping on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "quickping". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

quickping server crashes on startup – what to do?
