Quicksaving
💾 Adds quicksave and quickload capabilities via F6/F8. Works interdimensionally and optionally client-side only.
About this Mod
Quicksaving adds an easy way to save and load a location in-game. This can for example be used for parkour courses, where you save the initial location and re-load when you fall. The functionality is similar to those of other known games, such as Fallout and Baldur's Gate. It works in between dimensions.
It is possible to use this mod client-side only. It will use the /tp command to teleport the player to the quicksaved location. Of course you must have cheat-access enabled for this. If installed on both the client and the server, a cleaner way of teleporting is used without chat messages.
By default F6 (with crouch) is used to Quicksave, and F8 to Quickload. This can be configured to your liking.

Quicksaving server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Quicksaving compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Quicksaving officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Quicksaving – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Quicksaving consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
