Rando's Tech

ABOUT:

Rando's Tech is a simple tech mod that is similar to Minecraft vanilla, which adds new blocks, items and crafting recipes. These are some of the blocks in this mod that you can find in the Gallery section. Recipes for items can be confusing, so I recommend using mods like REI. This mod is not good for a stand-alone mod, it's recommended to play this mod with other mods.

Blocks:

Battery

• A block that stores forge energy. Connected with a cable.

Drill

• A block that breaks blocks under it.

Quarry

• A block that slowly breaks blocks in a chunk.

Solar Panels

• The only energy-making block in the mod and produces forge energy so it can probaly work with other forge mods.

Cable

• A redstone-like block and tranfers forge energy from a generator block to a block like a Drill

Pump

• Pump in fluids to generate power.

Pipes

• Cables but for Pumps.

Items:

Jetpack

• A Chestpiece that makes you fly when you spam the spacebar. Doesn't need fuel!

Reinforced Boots

• A footwear that stops all fall damage when wearing it. A good combo with the jetpack.

Refined Iron

• A new set of ores that can be obtained by smelting iron.

Steel

• A new set of ores that can be found anywhere from deepslate to bedrock level.

Electronic Circuit

• Crafted from Steel and Refined Iron it is a core item to build the tech blocks in this mod.

More About the mod

The mod is a fork of NorthWestTrees's Tech tutorial. You can find the base mod on Github and edit it on MCreator 2023.1 for Forge 1.20.1.

Rights to use the mod:

You can use the mod in any Modpack and credit me if you do.

The Future of the mod:

I will open source this mod as a .zip file that you yourself can edit or add new content to the mod itself. You can edit the mod with MCreator version 2023.1 for Forge 1.20.1. The mod will not be updated to any other versions of Minecraft besides the core 1.20.1.
