About this Mod

Real Time

A mod that syncs your game time to IRL time.

The mod uses ipify and ipapi to get an approximate geolocation, required for getting sunrise and sunset times. It then uses SunriseSunset.io's API to get your local sunrise and sunset times, allowing the mod to have an acurrate time representation in-game.

This mod is server-side only, meaning that if you run a server you don't need to get your players to install this mod. (Don't worry, you can still use it in singleplayer!) On servers it uses the server's approximate geolocation and system time.

How to Install Real Time on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Real Time". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Real Time server crashes on startup – what to do?
