About this Mod

Icon

Redline is a bare-bones, modular cybernetic enhancement tool for modpack makers that achieves full functionality with only Palladium and KubeJS. This core mod doesn't include any cybernetic components on its own. Instead, it offers a robust, data-driven system for content creators to develop their own cyberware items.

Features:

  • Modular Operating System framework
  • Component slot management system
  • Cyberware load balancing
  • Palladium Powers integration
  • Data-driven configuration

For Players:
This is a framework mod - you'll need at least one content pack that adds cyberware operating systems and components. Check out compatible content packs such as the Baseline Cyberware Pack.

For Developers:
Create your own cyberware using Redline's data-driven system. Add custom:

  • Operating Systems
  • Cybernetic Components
  • Palladium powers for all of them

All without needing to modify the core framework, and with minimal coding.
Check out the Baseline Cyberware Pack for an example.

Frequently Asked Questions

Redline Cyberware server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Redline Cyberware compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?

Redline Cyberware officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Redline Cyberware – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Redline Cyberware consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
