About this Mod

Welcome to Reforge & Recycle, a mod where you can turn your old, half broken and useless iron tools into something new!

You know how when you smelt an iron tool or armor, you get a measly 1 iron nugget?
Well no more, now when you blast the tools and armor instead, you get a new item called "Scrap Metal"

With this newly found scrap metal, you can either recycle it by putting it into a smoker to get a full iron ingot back instead of just one iron nugget
or, you can craft it into completely new tools, these tools are slightly better and stronger than normal iron tools!

This gives a reason to use a previously unknown and useless feature and rewards you for it!

How to Install Reforge & Recycle on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Reforge & Recycle". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Reforge & Recycle server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
