About this Mod

Have you ever wished that your tools were more durable, but not too durable, so as not to take anything away from the game? Well, this mod's got you covered!
Tools, but stronger!
The Reinforced Tools mod adds a new Smithing Template: The Steel Upgrade Smithing Template! Found exclusively in Weaponsmith Chests, this template allows you to upgrade your regular Tools to Reinforced Tools!
This mod also adds an all-new material to the game: STEEL! Crafted with Iron and Coal, Steel allows the player to make an all-new Steel tool set!
Reinforced Tools range from Reinforced Iron to Reinforced Netherite tools! All Reinforced Tools are 2x more durable than their non-reinforced counterparts, and have a higher mining speed!
This mod also adds Obsidian Tools, which can be crafted using Obsidian Shards and Thick Sticks! Obsidian Tools also have Reinforced variants.
Obsidian Tools are less durable than diamond, but are sharper and deal more damage.
Also included in this mod is the ability to craft the following all-new Steel-themed blocks:
- The Steel Block;
- The Steel Bars;
- The Steel Button and Pressure Plate;
- The Cut Steel Block;
- The Cut Steel Stairs and Cut Steel Slab.
(This project is ongoing and I plan to make many additions to make this mod much more exciting and refreshing. Please report any issue you have to the issue tracker!)
