RejectedFeatures
A mod that aims to add to Minecraft features that were rejected by Mojang.
About this Mod
Minecraft's Rejected Features
Minecraft players have suggested thousands of ideas over the years.
Some were added to the game, while others ended up on Mojang's official Rejected Suggestions List.
This mod brings some of those rejected ideas to life so we can try them out !
🧟 Zombie Players
When a player is killed by a zombie, a new zombie can spawn withtheir equipment.

🎈 Levitation Potions
Levitation has existed in Minecraft for years, yet it still can't be brewed into a potion.
I also created an alternative version brewed with Fireworks which is shorter but with a much stronger effect.

📦 Double Ender Chest
One of the most requested updates is finally here.
Place two Ender Chests next to each other to create a Double Ender Chest, with twice the storage.
The first slots remain linked to your regular Ender Chest.

🎨 Paint Brush
Minecraft is designed around placing one block at a time.
This mod breaks that rule with the Paint Brush, a tool capable of placing blocks in a 3×3 area if you keep it in your left hand.

💎 Amethyst Equipment
The copper tools were added, time for the Amethyst (which is cooler imo)
All the tools are based on a streak mecanic, the more you break the same block, you harvest the same crop, you hit the same mob, the more effecient the tool gets.

🏚️ Illusioner Hut
The Illusioner is in the game since 1.12 but is still impossible to get without commands.
This mod adds a dedicated structure for it: the Illusioner Hut.
It's upside down so the illusioner is named Dinnerbone lol

.
🌞 Blinding Sunlight
Do not stare at the sun. That's an advice.

🪨 Bedrock Breaker
Getting the advancement How did we get there will give you a rune to upgrade your pickaxe and make it able to break bedrock.
But mining Bedrock damages the player, like getting the master sword in Zelda BOTW.

😢 Crying Obsidian Portal
Crying Obsidian can finally be used to create a special portal.
Instead of leading into the Nether itself, this portal transports players to the Nether Roof, offering a convenient way to access this place.

🟧 Copper Oxidation
This mod adds a way to manually oxidize copper blocks using water bottles.
Also, with apple Vinegar you can reverse the oxydation.

🏮 Hanging Lanterns
Lanterns now have a variant that can be attached directly to walls.

🌳 Bark
Stripping logs now gives you Bark that can give your minecraft skin a little tanning. It can be washed with a water bucket.

RejectedFeatures server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is RejectedFeatures compatible with neoforge?
RejectedFeatures officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with RejectedFeatures – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if RejectedFeatures consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
