Remapped
Remapped is a mod that aims to improve the vanilla map system.
Description
v2 is HERE for 1.21.11 and above! This version is now safe to move existing worlds on/off of: Maps will continue to store and display their vanilla colors. This version is also more compatible with other mods such as Not Enough Animations.
Currently, Remapped implements two features to help improve the map experience.
1: Better Map Colors
Remapped overhauls the map color system to bring more accurate colors to maps. This is done in a data-driven system where datapacks can define new colors and can assign blocks/biomes to them.
As a result of this system, modded blocks will not show up on the map.
2: Cheaper Maps
To help make getting maps easier, Remapped adds a cheaper map recipe that requires an ink sac instead of a compass. These cheaper maps will not have player trackers on them.

How to Install Remapped on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Remapped". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Remapped server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Remapped compatible with fabric?
Remapped officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Remapped – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Remapped consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
