RenderLib
Library for entity rendering
About this Mod
This mod requires MixinBootstrap (curseforge, modrinth) to run!
Mixin 0.7-0.8 Compatibility (curseforge, modrinth) might be helpful when another mod uses an older mixin version and you are thus unable to launch the game.
RenderLib is a client-side only mod that makes necessary changes to entity and tile entity rendering for some of my other mods.
This mod on its own does not provide any meaningful improvements regarding performance and you probably only want to install it when using a mod that has this mod as a dependency.
You might want to check out my mods that have this mod as a dependency
- Entity Culling (curseforge, modrinth) - Skip rendering of entities that are occluded by blocks
- Nothirium (curseforge, modrinth - Greatly improve FPS by using modern OpenGL for chunk rendering
If you want to use RenderLib along TickDynamic then you should check out this fork of TickDynamic which is compatible with RenderLib: Tick Dynamic Continuation (curseforge, modrinth)

RenderLib server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.12.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is RenderLib compatible with forge?
RenderLib officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.12.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with RenderLib – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if RenderLib consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
