About this Mod

IMPORTANT:

Requiem Antiquorum has many dependencies. Read this page thoroughly before downloading.

Welcome to Requiem Antiquorum, a journey through industry, magic, and exploration as you build profound technology, uncover the ancient story of the Ancestors, and ultimately avenge those who gave rise to your very being.

Requiem Antiquorum aims to bring a burst of rich excitement to a nostalgic era by expanding significantly on every stage of the game - early, mid, and late - and building upon concepts from beloved mods. The mod is designed to be added directly to the modpack FTB Infinity by the FTB Team, and features many inter-mod interactions and bridges similar in spirit to Forgotten Relics.

Integrations and Additions

Requiem acts as a small-scale addon for several mods:

-Thaumcraft: a new research tab with extensive progression

-Witchery: new jar-contained products and distillery recipes

-Pam’s Harvestcraft: new foods, crops, and recipes

Requiem is a passion project that was not originally intended for public release. Over time, however, I have shifted toward releasing it. If it isn’t your cup of tea, that’s perfectly fine; I made it because I wanted to, and I put into it what I wanted.

This mod is absolutely enormous. It would be foolish to try to describe every facet of its content here, however the in-game guidebook gives a detailed and well-written description of everything that needs more explaining than common sense can provide. Some detailed video showcases can be found on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@comradefox_), and I ideally put them there as fast as I can make them.

All soundtrack music has been composed by me (ComradeFox), except for the final fight theme composed by the lovely UnfoundRose (https://www.youtube.com/@rals1k).
Most textures are created by me or derived from vanilla Minecraft assets. A small number of textures originate from external artwork used because they were either particularly fitting or beyond my current artistic ability. If your artwork appears in Requiem and you would like credit or removal, please contact me.

Modpack Compatibility

Requiem is designed specifically for FTB Infinity and relies on many of its mods and configurations. I strongly recommend, if not require using it only within that pack, as it may not function or feel relevant elsewhere.

Recommended Additional Mods

Requiem has optional integrations with:

-Minechem

-Totemic

-Tainted Magic

These are not required but are highly recommended.
Requiem also interacts with Aquaculture 1, which is recommended but not essential.

Much of Requiem’s mid- to late-game content interacts with Avaritia. You must disable “Crafting Only” mode in Avaritia’s config for full functionality.
