About this Mod
Ever wished your builds could fight back against explosions instead of instantly turning into debris? Resistant Polish adds a brand-new block reinforcement system that lets you polish blocks to make them more explosion-resistant—without turning the game into pure creative mode chaos.
This mod introduces a simple but satisfying progression where blocks can be treated, measured, reused, and even stripped of their polish when needed.
**Polishing System:
**
Resistant Polish adds multiple polish items that can be applied directly to blocks:
Slightly Resistant Polish – A small boost to resistance
Resistant Polish – A solid, balanced increase
Very Resistant Polish – Maximum protection potential
(All of these values are configurable) Each application increases a block’s Polish Resistance (up to a cap of 100). The higher the value, the better the block can survive explosions.
Polished blocks have a chance to survive with the higher the polish value, the better the odds. Surviving blocks lose some resistance over time.
Utility Items:
To help manage polish, the mod adds a couple of handy tools:
🟠 Copper Polish Gauger
Right-click a block to see its current polish value
Stores and displays the last scanned value
🧽 Sponge Polish Remover
Removes all polish from a block
Gives you Leftover Resistant Polish, which can be reused (at reduced strength)
🧪 Leftover Polish
Can be reapplied to blocks
Restores a weakened version of the original resistance
⚙️ Configurable & Server-Friendly:
Fully configurable polish values with server-side decay settings for fine balance control. Resistance data is saved per world and automatically cleared when a block is broken.
