About this Mod

Process in game chat for web links to be made clickable

Chat type includes

Game message
Player chat message
Player direct message
Non-player announcement (such as command block /say)

Note: Tested with no chat modification. Mods/Plugins that alter chat messages may affect its correctness.

Important: 1.19.3+ versions highly recommends Fabric API to be installed.

Forge Config Api Port is required to modify configuration in Fabric. Defaults will be used when it is not available.

1.19.3-0.2.0+ requires at least version 5.0.5 if available (as an optional dependency)

1.19.2-0.1.4 requires at least version 4.2.10 if available (as an optional dependency)

1.19.2-0.1.3 requires and supports only version 4.2.9

Therefore, the web link style is configurable and it's located in ./config/restorechatlinks-client.toml

How to Install Restore Chat Links on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Restore Chat Links". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
