Re:Time
Death is no longer the end—just a return to the past.

About this Mod
A Hardcore-Surreal mod that transforms the concept of death in Minecraft. Instead of a traditional respawn, you are
"Rewound" to your last safe moment. But this temporal safety comes with a heavy price: every time you cheat death, a
piece of your vitality is consumed. Your maximum health will slowly dwindle until there is nothing left to sacrifice.
Key Features
- ⏳ Safe Rewind System: Automatically snapshots your state (inventory, XP, effects) when in safe areas. Upon death,
you are instantly transported back to that point in time. - 💔 The Price of Time: Each rewind permanently reduces your maximum health by 1 heart (2 HP). The more you fail, the
more fragile you become. - 🌫️ Dynamic Desaturation: As your health drops, the world literally loses its color. A custom post-processing shader
drains the saturation, making the world look "bland" and "pale" to reflect your character's fading life. - ⛈️ Divine Finality (Game Over): When you lose your last heart and die, a dramatic lightning bolt strikes your
location, signaling the true end of your journey. You are then permanently shifted into Spectator mode. - 🕊️ Sacrifice for Atonement: Regain your lost hearts by sacrificing a Totem of Undying. Right-clicking a Totem will
consume it and restore 1 lost heart, giving you a second chance to fight the cycle. - 📜 Voices of Despair (i18n): Features a randomized "Sad Reminiscence" message system. Upon rewinding, you'll
receive melancholic messages like "The pain... it never fades" or "Is this a gift, or a curse?" (Supports both
English and Thai). - 🛠️ Admin Tools: Includes OP commands for server management: /timerewind reset
to restore all hearts and /timerewind save to force a manual snapshot.

Re:Time server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Re:Time compatible with fabric?
Re:Time officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Re:Time – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Re:Time consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
