About this Mod
Welcome to my first serious Minecraft mod!
Any sugestions, bugs, or comments? Feel free to share!
This mod adds three new flower varients, the removed Rose flower, unimplemented Paeonia, and the Buttercup from Minecraft Earth.
Rose
The Rose readds the flower to the game (which was removed in 1.7.2). The Rose is a flower that spawns throughout the Overworld, such as forests, medows, and plains (and more!)
Red Dye: The Rose can be crafted into one Red Dye item.
Paeonia
The Paeonia adds the flower to the mod! (In vanilla Minecraft, it has a texture, but is not an actual plant in game). The Paeonia is a flower that spawns throughout the Overworld, such as forests, medows, and plains (and more!)
Pink Dye: The Paeonia can be crafted into one Pink Dye item.
Buttercup
The Paeonia adds the flower from Minecraft Eath to the game. The Buttercup is a flower that spawns throughout the Overworld, such as forests, medows, and plains (and more!)
Yellow Dye: The Buttercup can be crafted into one Yellow Dye item.

Retro Foliage server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Retro Foliage compatible with neoforge?
Retro Foliage officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Retro Foliage – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Retro Foliage consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
