About this Mod
Datapack which attempts to balance out the foods of minecraft with some nice and unique changes.
While most foods were only given new eating times some have bigger changes like the potions, stews, or glistering melons for examples.

New Food Eating times
If its not listed here than it takes the same amount of time to eat as before.
The Default eating speed is 1.6 Seconds or 32 ticks
Ordered from longest time to shortest time.
- Cooked Beef/Steak - 2.6 Seconds/52 Ticks
- Cooked Porkchop - 2.5 Seconds/50 Ticks
- Cooked Mutton - 2.2 Seconds/44 Ticks
- Cooked Chicken - 2.3/46 Ticks
- Potions - 2 Seconds/40 Ticks
- Poisonous Potato - 2 Seconds/40 Ticks
- Carrot - 1.4 Seconds/28 Ticks
- Golden Carrot - 1.4 Seconds/28 Ticks
- Stews - 1.3 Seconds/26 Ticks

Foods With Bigger Changes
- Stews can now be drunken quicker and stack to 8, they also have fixed visuals and sounds since you dont actually eat the bowl right?
- Potions are drunk a bit slower but stack to 16, only similar potions can stack.
- Glistering Melons can now be eaten for 2 full hunger and 0.5 saturation and give speed plus haste. Its honestly just confusing to new players since you can eat all other golden fruits.
- Melon Slices now give 0.5 saturation, before they gave 0.1.
- Glowberries have a chance to give the glowing effect when eaten
- Golden Carrots give regeneration for a few seconds when eaten restoring an extra 3 hearts over time
- Poisonous Potatos instead give poison 2 for 20 seconds

Available Versions
How to Install Revamped Foods on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.7).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Revamped Foods". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Revamped Foods server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.7). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Revamped Foods compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Revamped Foods officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.7, 1.21.6, 1.21.5. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Revamped Foods – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Revamped Foods consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
