Forging Curios
Crafting these powerful curios requires a base item and an Aspect Stone. Your progression revolves around looting chests to find these materials and forging them at a Smithing Table.

Base Items : You need an Iron Ring for ring curios, a Base Chain for necklaces, and a standard Iron Ingot for charms. You can normally find these in dungeon loot chests. They are also craftable if you have Ethereal Dust. If you are playing this as a standalone mod, the only way to get Ethereal Dust is by smelting down other curios.
Aspect Stones : These rare materials determine the theme of your forged curio. The mod currently features 4 Aspect Stones with 12 unique curios, though 9 stones are planned in total. You have a very low chance to find Aspect Stones in every loot chests. However, you have a much better chance finding them in themed locations. For example, Aspect of the Tide commonly spawns in buried treasure, shipwrecks, and underwater ruins.

Players cannot wear multiple pieces of Riftbound curios in each slot (only one piece per Ring, Necklace and Charm slot). This is to prevent players from stacking effects and get too powerful.
🔮Current Aspect Stones

- Aspect of Bloom
- Aspect of the Tide

Material Infusion
Material Infusion allows you to strengthen any curios from Riftbound RPG. It offers a similar experience to the Apotheosis mod but focuses on balancing and playstyle combinations. Currently, you can infuse Aspect Stones and some vanilla Minecraft items into your curios. More socket items will be added in future updates.
The effect of a infused material changes depending on whether it is placed in a Ring, Necklace, or Charm. You cannot infuse the same material into a curio more than once. To remove all infused items, combine the curio with Ethereal Dust in a Smithing Table.

Passive Inheritance
Passive Inheritance lets you fuse two different Riftbound Curios together. You combine a base curio with a sacrificial curio. The base curio absorbs the final passive ability of the sacrificial curio. The sacrificial curio is completely consumed during this process. Each curio is limited to one inherited passive at a time. If you fuse another curio into it later, the new passive will replace the old one.

Not Enough Slots?
There is nothing worse than looting an amazing curio, only to toss it into a chest forever because your curio slots are already full.
To solve this, the mod introduces two new Infusion Materials. These grant +1 Curio Slot of that specific type, allowing you to equip curios from this mod without sacrificing your favorite curios from other mods. To keep gameplay balanced, expanding your slots this way comes with a stat penalty.

If you feel this feature disrupts your game's balance, specific Infusion Materials can be easily disabled through the config file.
Craft For Your Own Style
With 15 Base Curios, over 20 Infusion Materials, and the Passive Inheritance system in v0.4.5, players can craft over 250,000 uniquely tailored jewelry pieces. Dive into Riftbound Jewelry and forge the perfect curio to match your playstyle!
