RLArtifacts
RLArtifacts is a fork of Artifacts, with various changed such as improved Mimics, MoBends compatibility for baubles, and backported/new artifacts.
About this Mod
RLArtifacts is a fork of Artifacts by ochotonida, all credits for the original mod go to them.
Like the original Artifacts mod, RLArtifacts adds many new baubles that can only be found as drops from Mimics, or crafted out of other artifacts.
This version has many major changes from the original;
- Removed unwanted items such as the Everlasting foods.
- Baubles that overlap with BountifulBaubles (Obsidian Skull, Cobalt Shield, etc.) are disabled by default but have a config option for re-enabling them if you are not using BountifulBaubles.
- Almost every artifact has been reworked to add config options for them, such as attribute values and operations, activation chances, etc. all changeable in-game.
- Mimics have been reworked, they are now more dangerous, more hidden, and will also fight back against entities attacking them (Like pets.)
- Additionally, the spawning system for Mimics have been reworked; Previously, random chests would spawn underground with a chance to spawn a Mimic instead (This still exists as a config option) as the only method of Mimics spawning. In RLArtifacts, when a chest that has ungenerated loot is opened or broken by a player, it has a chance of dropping the contents and being replaced by a Mimic instead, meaning that even loot chests in structures and dungeons are not safe from being Mimics.
- The Antidote Vessel artifact from newer versions of Artifacts has been backported.
- Multiple new artifacts have been added, such as the Sacrificial Amulet, which gets charged up by getting kills while wearing it, and when fully charged will break and drop item(s) from its loot table.
- The rendering system has been reworked, making all the artifact models fully compatible with Mo'Bends, as well as remodeling the Star Cloak, and adding compatibility with Classy Hat's Phantom Thread.
- Multiple other bug fixes and general cleanup.
- More farts.
A few new artifacts have been added, and there are plans to add more over time as well.
