About this Mod
This is my first mod so it may be a little buggy.
My mod Rob's Guns aims to add a variety of vanilla friendly guns to the game.
The mods adds 5 guns and 1 ammo type.
- Flintlock: A single-handed quick loading gun that does moderate damage.
- Musket: A two-handed reliable gun that dishes out good damage.
- Scoped Musket: A More accurate and powerful musket equipped with a scope.
- Blunderbuss: The blunderbuss is a shotgun that shoots a flurry of bullets more reliable from closer ranges.
- Dragons Breath: The dragons breath is a single-handed shotgun that releases a flurry of flaming shots.
Useful Information:
- All guns require gunpowder and a round ball to shoot.
- Guns with the flame enchant will no longer need gunpowder to shoot.
- Scoped guns will zoom in on right click and shoot upon release.

How to Install Rob's Guns on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Rob's Guns". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Rob's Guns server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Rob's Guns compatible with forge?
Rob's Guns officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Rob's Guns – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Rob's Guns consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
