About this Mod
Rot N' Putrid
A mod adding new a few new effects based around rotting and nerfing netherite armor
(this mod is meant to be played with enchancements but it is not mandatory to enjoy this mod)
Getting Started
To start you will need to get a bottle of rot which is used to craft most of the items in the mod by surrounding a glass bottle with netherrack,
Rot Effect:
Rot is a new effect that all of the mod's mechanics are based around, it makes anyone with the affect get half as much defense from all metal armor other than gold. it can be obtained as a potion by brewing a bottle of rot into an awkward potion and can obviously the be changed into splash and lingering potions and also extended with redstone.
Rotten Greatsword:
A big sword with long reach that applies rot to whatever it hits for ten seconds then having a cooldown until it can apply it again. made with in a smithing table by putting a netherite sword and a putrid netherite ingot together which is made by putting a netherite ingot and a bottle of rot in a crafting table. (along with a putrid smithing template found in fortress chest if 1.20.1)
Rotten Tumour
An item that can be placed on metal blocks and will start eating away at them and giving a new effect called decay to mobs with rot within a certain range depending on the block it is placed. crafted with an iron ingot surrounded by four bottles of rot.
Purity Effect:
Brewed with a golden apple and an awkward potion, a mob with purity cannot have rot. yeah that's pretty much it
