A Rune Factory inspired mod
Looking for a blend of farming, fantasy, and adventure? RuneCraft brings the charm of Rune Factory into your Minecraft world! Grow seasonal crops, fight and tame monsters and build relationships with NPCs.
This mod includes an in-game Guidebook to help you along the way. To access the book you need.

🐉 Monsters
Unlike vanilla minecraft monsters appear exclusively through gates that spawn all over the world. These gate act as spawners and will continue spawning monsters unless the gate is destroyed.
Monsters can be tamed with the correct conditions.

🪚 Crafting
4 new crafting tables are added where you can craft various items:
The Forge: For all your offensive needs
The Accessory Bench: For all your defensive needs
The Pharmacy: Allows you to craft various potions
The Cooking Table: Create all your culinary items here

⚔️ Weapons
9 types of weapons each with different properties are added:
Shortswords
Longsword
Spear
Axe
Hammer
Dual blades:
Fists
Staffs
Farming tools
🪄 Rune points
Rune points are a very important aspect of the mod. Various action now require the use of rune points. If you run out, you'll start to use your HP for these tasks so pay attention. The player can refresh their rune points by sleeping and eating.
Missing features
Not all features from the game have been implemented yet. Following features are still missing:
- Events with npc, Town Festivals

How to Install RuneCraftory on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "RuneCraftory". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

RuneCraftory server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is RuneCraftory compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
RuneCraftory officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.18.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with RuneCraftory – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if RuneCraftory consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
