About this Mod
Scaffold aims to make building easier while also adding some decorative blocks.
CURRENTLY ADDED:
Scaffolding:
- Bamboo (sugarcane)
- Paper
- Wood (and painted varients)
- Cobble
- Slate
- Iron
- Steel
Platforms
- Cloth
Features
Scaffolding works mostly like scaffolding in the modern game, but less annoying. When the place limit is reached the scaffolding stops placing, it doesn't fall. When scaffolding is broken all the pieces that are no longer connected/grounded break instantly and are added to your inventory (no more hunting for scaffold item drops)
Platforms are one way blocks, you can go up through them but not down. They can be placed level with the top of a block or on the bottom like a slab.

Scaffold server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bta-babric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (b1.7.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Scaffold compatible with bta-babric?
Scaffold officially supports bta-babric for Minecraft b1.7.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Scaffold – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Scaffold consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
